I’m a third generation Washingtonian, a mom of five, a housing advocate, and a small business owner who has spent my life working to strengthen this community.
I’ve seen how D.C. is treated as a political pawn by people who don’t love here, and I know how much stronger we could be if our voices truly counted. I’m running to make sure they do. Equal representation begins with equal voting rights, and I’ll fight every day to ensure Washingtonians finally have both.
Equal Representation Begins With Equal Voting Rights
Our Plan For DC
Washingtonians deserve more than a token seat in Congress. We deserve real representation. Deirdre Brown’s plan for D.C. is rooted in expanding our self governance, building allies in Congress, and securing the federal resources our communities need. She will fight to strengthen the Home Rule Act, advance statehood, and bring transparency and accountability back to government while prioritizing safer streets, stronger schools, affordable housing and accessible healthcare for every resident.
